'South' state of mind

The south of Europe has so much to offer, and in this short but excellent diner series we explore what the south means to our guest chef, native born Italian, Ivano Pirolo. We met Ivano while he was cooking for the launch of the new Macallan Distillery in Speyside, and our paths have crossed since, where, under the watchful guidance of the three Roca Brothers, he played a part in cooking one of the most excellent lunches we’ve had the honour to eat, at the epic 3 Michelin Starred El Celler di Can Roca - awarded world’s best restaurant 2013-2015.


Aside from his excellent experience with the very best at Celler, Ivano has plenty kitchen time under his belt in numerous excellent hotels and restaurants, working under international names such as Pierre Gagnaire, and numerous Michelin listed / just straight up really amazing places.

To try Ivano’s beautiful food, (the photo’s he’s sent us don’t do it justice, check out his instragram) your chances are limited to two nights, 17 and 18 January. So, come in from the cold, burn out the January blues, and get yourself some South State of Mind.
