Salento Challenge


Powerhouse Valentina Rizzo is the chef at her family owned restaurant 'Farmacia dei Sani' (Pharmacy of the Sane). Over the past months we have been lucky enough to have had her with us in the EFS kitchen. We are very happy to hand her the reins here on 3rd, 4th March.  

Valentina is widely recognized as one of the emergent young chefs of the Italian restaurant scene, and unlike many of her fellow compatriots, she is open to foreign cuisines, embracing new flavours and ingredients. Her culinary skills are top, and everything she creates is somehow touched by her rich sense of humour. 

Valentina will prepare a 7 course menu of seasonal Scottish delights, influenced by her homeland on the very South Eastern tip of Italy, Salento, Puglia.

Dinner commences at 8pm, and guests are welcome from 7:30pm onwards. The set menu costs £42, and an optional drinks pairing menu will be available for £35.
